The Niagara Falls Red Raiders Basketball Association offers travel and house league programming for both boys and girls beginning at age 6 and continuing through to age 19.
House League:
- Novice Instructional (Ages 6-9 or Grades 1-4)
- A learn to play program where the focus is on fundamentals and skill development
- This program runs on Saturday mornings and is co-ed
- The first division is for 6 & 7 year olds
- The second division is for 8 & 9 year olds
- Atom League (Ages 10-11 or Grades 5 & 6)
- The Atom League plays one game and has one practice each week. Practices will take place one evening during the week and games will be played on Saturday mornings
- Bantam League (Ages 12-13 or Grades 7 & 8)
- The Bantam League plays one game and has one practice each week. Practices will take place one evening during the week and games will be played on Saturday mornings
- High School League (Ages 14-19 Grades 9-12)
- The High School League plays one game and has one practice each week
Travel Teams:
The Travel Teams are selected by the coach after the tryouts. Tryouts are held beginning in August and continue into September. Game and practice commitments vary and are at the discretion of the coach. The teams will take part in a number of tournaments during the season and must participate in the Ontario Cup at the end of the season.
- U-10 Select
- Cannot be older than 9 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- If there are enough players, than a younger (mainly grade 3 players) and an older (mainly grade 4 players) team could be registered.
- U-11 Select
- Cannot be older than 10 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- U-12 Select
- Cannot be older than 11 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- U-13 Select
- Cannot be older than 12 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- U-14 Select
- Cannot be older than 13 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- U-15 Select
- Cannot be older than 14 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- U-16 Select
- Cannot be older than 15 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- U-17 Select
- Cannot be older than 16 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
- U-19 Select
- Cannot be older than 18 by December 31st of the season to play in this division.
